Roman Nowka
Roman Nowka, was born in 1980 in Berne, Switzerland, and is a internationally renowned guitarist, singer, songwriter and composer. He spent his early years in Los Angeles, California, as the son of a classical guitar player and a sandwich vendor on Venice Beach, California. After moving back to Switzerland, he graduated from college, won a scholarship, moved to Paris and became a big fan of Thelonious Monk. Over the past ten years he has been working with different artist from around the world such as Marc Ribot, the original Fatgang, Steve Lacy, Chico Freeman, Amos Corny, Simon G, Tony Maher, and many more. He has been performing at Festivals and Clubs all around the world and has been composing music for films, theaters, and commercials.
